Package prices are indicative July 2026 anchors from SS Solar's price list. Final quote depends on roof condition, electrical works, ATAP scope, installation access, and current component availability. Bill savings of up to 90% depend on system size, daytime usage pattern, roof orientation and shading. Export credit is based on the prevailing TNB energy charge. T&C apply.

Why go solar

Six reasons your roof should be working

Savings of up to 90% depend on system size, daytime usage pattern, roof orientation and shading, and are confirmed after a free site visit. Export credit rates are set by the prevailing TNB energy charge. T&C apply.

Cut TNB bill up to 90%

Typical 8 kWp terrace home drops from RM 380/mo to RM 50–80/mo, near-zero with a battery sized for self-consumption.

Solar ATAP credits

Excess solar exported back to the grid at RM 0.27/kWh (≤1500 kWh/mo) and RM 0.37/kWh above that, based on the TNB energy charge.

Future-ready property

Plan solar, battery storage, and EV charging as one electrical roadmap instead of separate upgrades.

Energy independence

Pair with battery for selected backup loads during TNB outages, subject to the system design.

30-year panel power warranty

Jinko Tiger Neo panels carry a 30-year linear power-output (performance) warranty, plus a 12-year product warranty. Applicable product and workmanship terms are documented in your quote.

Climate impact

A 10 kWp system offsets ~9 tonnes of CO₂ per year in Malaysia.

FAQ

Common questions from Malaysian homeowners

How long does installation take?+

The on-site install is typically 1–2 days. The total time from consult to commissioning depends on eATAP approval and the TNB inspection schedule. These are government-controlled, so we give you a firm programme with your itemised quote rather than a fixed promise.

Do I need to do anything for Solar ATAP?+

No. We submit eATAP in your name end-to-end. Zero paperwork on your side.

What happens if a panel breaks?+

30-year linear power output guarantee plus 12-year product warranty on Jinko Tiger Neo panels (Jinko OEM warranty). Workmanship cover terms: confirm with our team.

Can I add a battery later?+

Only on ELITE SPLIT. The Swatten split system is battery-ready, so a battery can be added whenever you are ready. MAX includes a battery, but its capacity (16 kWh or 32 kWh) must be decided before installation and cannot be expanded afterwards. ELITE ONE ships with a 10.24 kWh battery that can be expanded later. SAVE is a solar-only system.

Tile vs metal vs flat-concrete roofs?+

We work with all three. Antai mounting hardware adapts to clay, concrete, or metal seam.

Will there be roof leaks?+

Every penetration is sealed with weather-rated flashing by our installation team. Contractor public-liability and installation insurance details available on request.

How much can I really save?+

Typical Malaysian home with 8 kWp: TNB bill drops from ~RM 380/mo to RM 50–80/mo (varies with usage pattern and roof orientation).

Do you service outside Johor?+

Yes. We have active installs across Selangor (Puchong, Ecoworld). Broader service area on request.

Bilingual support?+

Yes. English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin handled by the team.

Ready to save up to 90% on TNB?

Free site visit + itemised quote.

No obligation. We measure your roof, file eATAP, and design a system sized to your bill.

Savings of up to 90% depend on system size, daytime usage pattern, roof orientation and shading. T&C apply.
